C - OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
2. NEEDLE INSTALLATION
1. Loosen needle locking screw
and dismantle the original needle.
2. Insert the new needle, so that the needle flat A is on opposite side from screw
of the tension. Do
not install a bent or broken needle. Roll the needle on a flat surface to check for straightens.
The good quality needle does not have a deflection of the point.
3. Tighten the needle locking screw well.
3.THREADING
WARNING! Check if the operating switch (circuit breaker) is switched off.
Thread the thread, as illustrated.
The appearance and quality of the buttonhole may be affected by one or more of the following
- stitches density
- used thread strength, colour
- thread elasticity
- used sewn material
- tension of upper and lower thread
- used thread thickness
- width of stitches
- choosen sewing thechnological procedure
